As part of attending LinuxFest Northwest, and my love of paper crafts, I decided to run a trivia challenge on both Saturday and Sunday. Scores were stuck on butcher paper with post-it notes. Contestants did their best to answer or pass on 60-seconds worth of Linux trivia to give as many answers as possible before time ran out. Competition grew as the conference continued. A big thank you to everyone for participating! The trivia was difficult on this day because it demanded most contestants know when to pass, unless they could immediately answer.
Saturday Winners
Saturday was a mix of double and single contestants, with competition continuing all the way through waiting in line to order dinner at the end of day. Matthias showed up with Shelby to seize a commanding lead earlier on, but keep in mind the average score was closer to 10 points. This trivia challenge was definitely difficult for the average attendee, because it leaves almost no time for the score leaders to consider their answers. Also, it being the first time/first day made it no less challenging. On to the leaderboard:
Jonathan Wright (Alma Linux) and Carl George (Centos) as a duo.
Cameron (StillHQ) and Matthias (Bitwarden) tied for strongest individual answers
Joni & Archit duo
Romeo
Courtney (SmartOS) tied with Eamon
A huge thank you to everyone else who participated! I'm glad everyone had so much fun. You can hear the Jupiter Broadcasting hosts of Linux Unplugged take this quiz, coming in at 15 points.
