As part of attending LinuxFest Northwest, and my love of paper crafts, I decided to run a trivia challenge on both Saturday and Sunday. Scores were stuck on butcher paper with post-it notes. Contestants did their best to answer or pass on 60-seconds worth of Linux trivia to give as many answers as possible before time ran out. Competition grew as the conference continued. A big thank you to everyone for participating!
Sunday began extremely strong on trivia, with contestants ready to begin first thing in the morning. Word had clearly spread, but keep in mind this competition includes totally different questions on each day. Sunday's questions had more of a focus on speed. The average score was at 15, with the lowest scores at 7. Almost every competitor entered as a single, with only a few duo's.
Sunday Winners
Connor and Caleb had strong showings early on. Jonathan Wright took the top score, only to be immediately beaten by a competitor watching him from across the room. Their scores held for about an hour, before being dethroned by Toby. End of day, Donald Becker, Andrew and Salt gave top notch performances as we were closing things down after the raffle. On to the leaderboard:
Toby (TempleOS)
Salt (SeaGL) tied with Xoraxiom (CalyxOS)
Donald Becker and Andrew worked as a duo.
Jonathan Wright (Alma Linux)
Mathias
Caleb tied with Connor (Bellevue College)
A huge thank you to everyone else who participated! I'm glad everyone had so much fun.
