Wrapping my head around managing my fork now that some of my submitted changes have already been merged by Castopod, which is making me learn how to use a desktop Gitnuro client to sort this out. Any guidance much appreciated!
On the local desktop with Gitnuro
- Cloned my fork
- Cloned the parent project
Now I need to learn how to properly merge the upstream project changes into my fork, which is otherwise a number of commits ahead on same files. So far I've been making all of my edits from Castopod's gitlab webui, but that won't cut it anymore. All suggestions much appreciated!
